Hannah Anna is seeking an experienced E-commerce Merchandiser in women’s fashion to join our team on a freelance or consulting basis.
This role is responsible for both the strategic, creative and tactical aspects of online merchandising, ensuring product categorization, metadata, and collections are optimized for sales. The right candidate will balance data-driven insights with a strong sense of storytelling and branding, aligning all product initiatives with our theme of “Effortless Elegance for Women of Valor.”
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of e-commerce merchandising experience in women’s fashion and a deep understanding of current trends and prominent brands.
Key Responsibilities

Visual & Core Merchandising

Design & Maintain Store Layouts: create and update online store sections, collections, and product groupings to enhance visual appeal and drive conversions.

Seasonal & Promotional Strategy: implement merchandising strategies that reflect seasonal trends, promotions, and product launches, ensuring alignment with brand.

Style Selection: partner with the marketing team to select styles across brands for photography and marketing activities, maintaining a cohesive visual narrative.

Product Metadata: coordinate the uploading and maintenance of product data, ensuring relevant metadata and complementary styles are accurately reflected.

Site Usability & Conversion: collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product pages for shopability and incorporate upsell opportunities that increase AOV, and improve site navigation and product discovery.

Sales Performance & Inventory Management

Performance Metrics: track and analyze product performance (sales volume, turnover, profitability) to identify bestsellers and optimize assortment strategies.

Stock Level Oversight: monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders or discounting efforts to manage overstock and ensure timely product sell-through.

Product Selection & Curation

Sourcing: work closely with the purchasing team to source new brands and styles that resonate with target customers, supporting brand ethos.

Assortment Planning: curate product assortments, proposing specific brands and collections.

Trend Analysis & Market Research

Industry Awareness: stay current on fashion industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging designers, ensuring our brand remains innovative and compelling.
